Privacy Policy

What We Collect

When you use the IR35 calculator, we do not collect any personal data unless you choose to submit your email address. If you submit your email, we store: your email address, your calculator inputs (day rate, working days), and your scenario results.

If you purchase a compliance report, we collect your email address and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see your card details). Your contract document is processed in memory and never stored on our servers.

How We Use Your Data

Your email address is used to send you your requested results summary and occasional contractor tax updates. We do not sell your data to third parties. Affiliate partners receive only anonymised referral tracking — no personal data is shared.

Data Storage

Email addresses and calculator results are stored in Supabase, hosted in the EU. Purchased compliance reports are stored for 90 days then automatically deleted.

Third Party Services

We use: Stripe for payment processing (privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy), Resend for email delivery, Supabase for data storage, and Anthropic's Claude API for contract analysis. Contract text is sent to Anthropic's API for analysis and is subject to Anthropic's data processing terms.

IR35 Verdict does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We use only essential session cookies required for the site to function.
